The Institution
The EdUmatics project was led by staff from the Mathematics Centre, based within the Department of Education at the University of Chichester (UoC). The Centre was established in 1986 as a centre of excellence in order to initiate, promote, research and evaluate developments in the learning, teaching and application of mathematics. It has led major in-service mathematics teacher development initiatives for the UK government and it is renowned for its principled approach to the active involvement of teachers in the process.
